I work with my camera improvisationally. I'm always on the lookout for light and shape that inspires me. I feel like a dancer when I shoot photos. I move in a graceful motion looking into my camera frame until the shapes look right and I click.  This series is called Nights and visual haikuâ. I fell in love with various shapes and textures while out wandering the city.

Artist: Payam Nashery

“If the pen is mightier than the sword and a picture is worth a thousand words, then let peace and unity reign through pictures and arts!” - Payam Nashery
Combining the activities I enjoy has resulted in the images on this website. Love of outdoors, nature, hiking and travel has produced great opportunities for photography while my training as a pilot and joy of flying has created a unique perspective and great views from the air! Love of nature compels me to capture it as pure as I can and the best my art can achieve is to raise awareness of natural and environmental preservation.

The fun thing we've always enjoyed about Jane's mirrors is that she's fearless about what she'll use in her mosaics.
We're convinced a kitchen sink had to appear on one of them at some point in time!
Full of whimsy, you can't help but smile as you check yourself out in one of her mirrors!
